The road to Batman vs Juggernaut by Castro and McKenna

This was the first rough sketch by Victor.
Juggernaut was on top of his list of characters to put in a 'Batman and...' commission and I liked the pair-up idea immediately.

The road to the Batman-Commission by Jorge Coelho

I had a great time with this commission because Jorge kept me posted with sketches and was always willing to listen to my ideas. Can't thank you enough, Jorge!

Batman Sketch 1
First sketch from Jorge.
Liked it (and it spawned the other Batman commission) but the right arm was a little to Superman-y for me.

Batman Sketch 2
Nice improvement. But to me it looked like Batman flies - and Batman can't fly.

Batman Sketch 3
My idea was that Batman is gliding downwards. Of course he would have to look where he is going so I asked for a downward line of vision for Batman.
Looked okay but Jorge was right that the body language now doesn't really match the head.

Why not give Batman his old head back and give him something like a 'Bat-Kite' to fly with.
Can't Jorge thank enough for humoring me!
He assured me that he had fun working on my commissions.
So if you're looking at this while you're thinking about making a commission for me - I'm no great pain in the neck - only a little one. :)
